If the seat hinges mount back through the tank, it is discontinued from production, don’t have it, can’t get it, don’t know where any are, can’t make it, no substitute. If hinges mount down through the bowl, Go to >Eljer >Color-to-Match seats.

  • Original to 1965 home, American Standard toilet (and sink and tub) with “C65” inside toilet lid. It’s a “dusty rose/beige”. Of course a match on a seat (round) is what I’m looking for. I’m in Seattle — any advantage to getting a match on the color (we have the plastic floor bolt caps that match very well) — ie: do you have a store in town vs. mail?

We do not have a physical retail store. If you know your color name, click here for seats for American Standard colors. If you need to find out your color name, hire the ID service here.

  • I have a Kohler Elongated toilet that was installed in 2000. I believe the color is called Riverstone ( G-2) . It seems it’s a discontinued color and I cannot find a replacement seat anywhere. Any chance you would have one or can suggest anything else ?

  • I need to replace three wooden elongated toilet seats for Universal Rundle. 20 years old. I have Church toilet seats that I ordered about 7 years ago but don't know if they are white or cotton white. I want wooden, slow close, sta-tite. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Our wood seats don't have any of the features you are seeking. Plastic seats (medium or heavy-duty are better than wood.) Go to Toilet seats 101 for an article about that. Cotton White is a Toto color name. Cotton White is not available on wood seats. For Universal Rundle, the common, generic "white" is the correct match.

  • hve an American Standard yellow toilet 4049 #1421675 - It is difficult to tell by photos what color is best...I ordred a Bemis yellow which looked perfect i the photo - the real thing is lighter than the photo and tank...I see they have a harvest gold - and also another two yellows all of which don't look perfect...Is there any way to tell with the numbers that I've shared which I would need...the current one has never been changed and the bottom looks like boat barnacles!!!

4049, F4049 is a common tank number for the Cadet model 1962 - 1982. 1421675 is a mystery. We have seats for all the American Standard colors, so we have your color (color name.) The confusion you describe is precisely why our Color Identification Service above was born and why it is a good value. American Standard's color name for gold was Autumn Gold. Four other manufacturers called it Harvest Gold. It's the same color under different names. There are no numbers or markings on the product indicating the color name.

  • House built in 1995; brand name of toilet not known, but need a replacement round plastic green seat. Not sure what name of color is...May be "Sea Mist" green? How can I order right one?

Without a manufacturer's brand name, we cannot pinpoint your color name. However, we can send you samples of ALL the greens for EACH manufacturer in our program (13) circa 1995. Copy your question above, begin a Color Identification Service order above. During the payment process, paste your question into the Notes field. We will postal mail the samples. It is possible you will find a color that matches your toilet. Certainly, you will find a color that is very close. Follow the brand of the color name in our Color-To-Match seats collection.

  • Our American Standard toilet was made Sept 27, 1973. The contact person at American Standard identified it as in the Cadet Series from the info on the tank. She said the color would have been fawn beige or bone. It is a darker beige. We need to replace the toilet and wanting to match color as other bath fixtures are the same color. Please advise.

Take the tank lid or a bolt cap from near the floor to a plumbing fixture showroom. ...Preferably an American Standard dealer. They will be able to advise the availability of current production toilets and their colors. (We don't sell new toilets.) Study our handling tips before removing the tank lid. If the bolt cap does not come easily, don't force it. You can get rebulid internal parts for your exisitng toilet from our fulfillment affiliate. 603-249-9100.

  • Our house was built in 1978. The American Standard bathroom fixtures are a beige with a pink tint. I'm trying to find out the color.

  • Elmer corner toilet needs new seat year 1984. It is cocoa color, like hot chocolate. I thought it might be Tuscan but not sure.

  • We just purchased a house that was remodeled in 1981. It has two bathrooms with brown fixtures (a sort of medium brown). The toilet (elongated) has “CW” printed on it and I believe it is a Colton Ware toilet. The matching color sink has a date from 1980 and also has “79” stamped on the underside. I’m given to understand that Colton is a rebranded Crane. The color looks similar to either Sun Tan or Sahara Sand. Is Colton a rebranded Crane and were those colors made in about 1980? Thanks in advance!

2023: We have no production history for Colton in our data base, but they did exist in the 1980s. We are uncertian if they closed or merged. We cannot provide color ID for Colton toilets.

  • I have an American standard lowboy toilet The style is the “concord “. I am looking for a round toilet seat in “cobalt blue”.

  • I have a Crane toilet with elongated seat. Under the lid it has 2 2 2. N550. Aug 23 1995 The hinges are broke on the seat. It is an off white , like a light sand or beige Are those numbers above enough information to get the correct color? Can I buy only the hinges or do I need to buy the whole seat? Appreciate any help. Thank you

2023: 222 is a model number and does not indicate the color name. We do not have toilet seat parts.

  • We have three Kohler toilets that date back 1988-2003. We have tried several colored toilet seats that supposedly match Kohler toilets (Biscuit, Almond, Fawn Beige). The first two are too light with a yellow undertone, and the Fawn Beige is too dark. We looked at the list of Kohler colors, and it's possible it could be Innocent Blush, although it looks more like a light sand color to us. Hopefully, it isn't Parchment as it appears that one might not be available any longer.

Fawn Beige is an America Standard color and therefore will not match Kohler toilets.

Bermuda Coral was produced from 1978 to 1985. The likely color name is Corallin, also discontinued. The substitute is Venetian Pink, darker, or Bermda Coral, lighter. As of February 2023, we still have Round Bermuda Coral available. Corallin can be custom-made for $400.00.
