Trade Discounts?:

We do not offer discounts to the trade because most of our items are no longer available from factory production. This means limited availability and most items cannot be replaced once sold. Therefore, we have only one price for them. But we can offer valuable cash discount for payment by check versus credit card on some select items. Contact us for a quote.

Home Depot & Lowes:

Since we do not offer discounts to the trade, we do not offer credit accounts for buying via purchase orders. Home Depot and Lowes do not have accounts with This Old Toilet®. If you work in one of these stores, we recommend that you refer your customer directly to our website or telephone rather than you contacting us on their behalf.

A: Yes. Postal mail a note stating the item you want; your shipping address; your phone number; and include a check* or money order payable to This Old Toilet for the amount** shown for the item. Send to:

* Include your bank's telephone number so that we can verify funds prior to shipment. If we are unable to verify funds, please allow two weeks from receipt of check to shipment of lid.

** If delivery is to California, add 8.25% for sales tax. (Rate is for Santa Clara county, where title passes, per State Board of Equalization regulations.)

Service-Part Numbers vs. Model Numbers:

Some manufacturers have model numbers for the original products and service-part numbers for identifying components and parts for repair or replacement. We go by the markings on the products, which are mostly the model numbers. We can convert from service-part numbers back to model numbers in most cases, but typically the model number is needed in order to answer a query for price and availability or for locating an item on our website.

Example: American Standard Roma toilet is model number 2009. The tank lid has a service-part number of 735.001-400. But the stamping on the tank and tank lid is 2009.

Example: Kohler Rochelle toilet is model number K-3385EB. The tank lid component model number is K-4539. The tank lid service-part number is 84079. But the stamping on the tank lid is K-4539.

We are bi-lingual, but all listings, stock-checks, price quotes, ordering and invoicing follows model numbers.

Some service part numbers contain color code numbers. Our listings use color names. You'll need to know the color name to locate an item in our listings.

Miscellaneous:

May 2011: We have discontinued our stock of toilet bowls, two-piece toilets and one-piece toilets, except for wall mounted.
